Are new graduates/applicants who have not previously applied to an internship
DICAS (the Dietetic Internship Centralized Application Service) collects application materials in one place so that you need only to send your information to one place and we may view your material easily. DICAS has nothing to do with decisions about who is matched to an Internship. Their sole responsibility is to provide a place online where your application materials will be stored. DICAS has released an overview video which shows how to navigate through the sections of the DICAS application.
This application is submitted directly to our Program through a simple online form The fee is $75 payable by credit or debit card.
This form is used to list the locations for your rotations and preceptors. You must complete this form and include your preceptor(s) and site(s) for the first rotation .
BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC,WE WILL ACCEPT ONE ROTATION SITE UPON APPLICATION. WE WILL CONSIDER A START DATE OF 3/15 for QUALIFIED INTERNS WHO DO NOT YET HAVE A PRECEPTOR. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND OUR VIRTUAL ORIENTATION DURING THE LAST WEEK IN JANUARY.
The Preceptor forms which are located on our website www.PNCDDI.com on the Preceptor page are used to confirm that the Preceptors that you contacted have agreed to precept you. This is not an application to be a preceptor. These forms must be completed and submitted by your PRECEPTORS. The link to our Preceptor Information Form, which is submitted electronically, is below.
Additional information for Preceptors is found under the Preceptor tab. As an applicant, you would benefit from becoming familiar with this information.
BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC, THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN PUT ON HOLD. WE ARE LOOKING TO HAVE PRECEPTOR INFORMATION BY MIDSUMMER, EARLIER IF YOU HAVE IT.
